Frewsburg man accused of animal neglect

A Frewsburg man is accused of neglecting dogs and two puppies after an investigation by the State Police. State troopers have charged 26-year-old Thomas Wallace with two counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals/failure to provide proper sustenance after they received a tip that dogs Wallace was responsible for were locked in a trailer and neglected. The trailer had no electricity or ventilation according to the state police and the dogs didn't have access to regular food or water. Troopers say they found two puppies in a small wooden pen with no light and were emaciated with an apparent skin condition. The dogs were removed from the trailer by the Dog Control Officer and the puppies were taken to the SPCA to be examined by a veterinarian.
