A 20-year-old Ripley man who was wanted on several felony and misdemeanor warrants had to be tased by Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies this morning after he tried to evade arrest by running from a residence in Ripley. Deputies say they observed Dylan Murphy at the residence on South State Street in the town. Deputies tased Murphy during a foot chase. Besides the felony warrants for burglary 1st and Assault 2nd, and misdemeanor warrants for criminal mischief and petit larceny, Murphy was charged with resisting arrest. He was arraigned in local court and was ordered held without bail.
