Schumer wants special team sent to New York to help fight flu

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is calling on the U-S Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to send a special team to New York State to help fight the tough flu season. Schumer says that so far, half-way through the flu season, 52-hundred New Yorkers have been hospitalized for the flu. Last year's number for the entire season was 35-hundred people hospitalized...

With record-setting highs this season, Schumer says it's critical that New York has the resources and knowledge it needs to track the flu's path, gather intelligence, and figure out the most effective way to fight this virus.
