Ellicott Police arrest Falconer man after discovery of weapons

An alarming Facebook post about a person threatening to do "terrible violence" in the village of Falconer has led to a convicted felon's arrest and the discovery of a huge cache of weapons. Ellicott Town Police Detective Kevin Pierce says a resident alerted them to the Facebook post on February 28th, which led them to a storage unit in the town. Pierce-Investigation led to search warrant
Pierce says the guns included an AK-47 assault rifle, a 308-caliber rifle, and a 12-gauge shot-gun. 36 year-old James Caloren is facing felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon. After arraignment, Caloren was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail. FBI and ATF are assisting Ellicott Town Police and federal charges are pending.
