A one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in the Town of Sheridan landed a Jamestown woman in the hospital. According to State Police in Fredonia, 49-year-old Patricia Bova was traveling east on Route 5 near Harrington Road just after 9:45 AM, when she veered off the road on the opposite side. Bova's vehicle then went through a yard and struck a tree. She was flown to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie, where her condition is unknown at this time. The investigation into the crash is continuing.
