Firefighters from three departments were called out to a vehicle fire Saturday morning on the Thruway near Dunkirk. Crews from Fredonia, East Dunkirk, and Sheridan, along with emergency services, responded to a fully involved tractor-trailer fire in the eastbound lanes of I-90 near Exit 59 at about 8:45 AM. County dispatchers say all eastbound traffic was temporarily diverted at Exit 60 as crews battled the blaze. WDOE News will have more information when it becomes available.
