Runkle to propose legislation to market Jamestown airport

If the County is marketing the Dunkirk Airport, a member of the County Legislature feels both airports should be up for sale. Stockton Republican John Runkle says he wants to introduce legislation that would allow the process to begin in selling the County Airport in Jamestown.

Runkle-Both airports should be on the market

Runkle says he agrees with County Executive Greg Edwards' decision to market the Dunkirk Airport, but he feels the airport near Jamestown should also be on the market. He hopes the full legislature will be able to consider the proposal during next month's meeting.
