Two Sinclairville Residents Arrested in Holiday Saturation Detail

Two Sinclairville residents were charged with marijuana possession after trying to drive through a State Police holiday saturation patrol in the south county overnight. Troopers say 22-year-old Ashley Miller and 34-year-old Erik Nollinger drove through a sobriety checkpoint on Route 394 in West Ellicott.  Miller was found to be in possession of partially smoked marijuana cigarettes and a jar containing a small amount of pot. A search of the vehicle turned up 286 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, numerous baggies, and 1.2 ounces of concentrated cannabis, all of which Nollinger allegedly admitted to owning. Nollinger was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail on charges of 4th- and 5th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 3rd-degree criminal possession of marijuana, and 2nd-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.  Miller was issued an appearance ticket for Ellicott Town Court on one count of unlawful possession of marijuana.
