Voters in both the Brocton Central School District and the Westfield Academy and Central School are taking part in a straw vote today on whether or not the two districts should merge. The vote will run until 8pm in both districts. It's a the first of two votes on merging. If it passes, another vote will be held in October. If it fails, the current merger process would come to an end. Voting in the Brocton School District will be in the foyer of the new gym while voting in the Westfield Academy and Central School District will be in the high school lobby.
