Stanley R. Bielecki, 74, of First Street, Dayton passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at ECMC in Buffalo, NY. He was born May 29, 1938 in Fredonia, NY, the son of the late Stanley J. and Helen Bielecki.
Mr. Bielecki was an owner operator truck driver for 35 years, working with several companies including Halls, Samuel Lansberry and Butler Trucking. He enjoyed tractor pulling and was a member of the Genesee Valley Antique Tractor Club, and he was a member of St. Joseph's RC Church in Gowanda, NY.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sally (Miller) Bielecki. He is also survived by a son, Stephen (Lori) Bielecki of Tully, NY and a daughter, Cindy Degroot of Cottage, NY; and eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Amanda, Emma, Stephanie, Rene, Drew, Brandon and Jessica.
Friends may call at the Mentley Funeral Home Inc., 105 E. Main St., Gowanda, NY on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Tuesday, April 30, 2012 at 10 a.m. from St. Joseph's RC Church in Gowanda, NY. Burial will be in Jolls Cemetery.
