Dorothy I. Radloff, age 83, of Dunkirk, NY died Wednesday (May 8, 2013) at UPMC-Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA. She was born in Dunkirk on January 3, 1930, the daughter of the late John and Eva (Wolak) Bartkowski.
A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Mrs. Radloff was a retired administrative assistant in the economics department at SUNY Fredonia. She was a member of Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish-St. Hyacinth's Church, the parish Holy Rosary Society and the Sunshine Committee.
Surviving are her son, Joseph Budniewski of Dunkirk; her daughter, Carol (Thomas) Sommer of Fishers, IN; and her granddaughter, Laura Sommer of Fishers, IN. Stepchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Budniewski; her second husband, William R. Radloff; her son, Robert "Robbie" Radloff; and her brother, Leonard Bartkowski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Blessed Mary Angela R.C. Parish - St. Hyacinth's Church. Private interment will be in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery. There will be no prior visitation. Friends will recite the rosary at 10:00 AM prior to the Mass. Arrangements by the Newman Funeral Home Inc.
