Harriet L. (Fitch) Pierce, age 76, of Westfield, N.Y., died Monday, July 21, 2014 at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family.
Harriet was born July 5, 1938 in Cherry Creek, NY, to the late Harvey and Irene Hunt Fitch.
She is survived by her children, Timothy L. (Anna) Pierce, Violet M. (James) Jasinski, and Cheryl L. (Allen) Carlson; sisters Gladys Houchens and Dorothy Shear; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Harriet was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna L. Fox; her granddaughter. Linda S. Haley; her grandson, Brian Reed; her brother, Harry Fitch; and her sister, Violet Pierce.
Friends and relatives may call at the Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, 39 Matteson St., Fredonia, NY on Thursday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Portland-Evergreen Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions in Harriet's memory may be made to the family.
