Rosine L. (Leone) Braccio, 90, of Fredonia died Sunday morning (July 27, 2014) at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk following a brief illness.
She was born June 27, 1924 in Fredonia, the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Camaratta) Leone.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Braccio was a homemaker.
She was a former members of St. Anthony's Church and its St. Lucy's Society.
Mrs. Braccio enjoyed word puzzles, crocheting, baking, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Arlene (Dan) Polowy of Dunkirk and Janice (George) McManus of New Jersey; seven grandchildren, Clayton Polowy, Garrett Polowy, Daniel Polowy, Kelly Russo, Patrick McManus, Alanna Weiss and Brendan McManus; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. Braccio, who died Feb. 13, 2013; and one sister, Carolyn Grisanti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass which will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 o'clock in Holy Trinity Church. No prior visitation. Flowers gratefully declined.
