William A. "Butch" Kardysauskas Jr., 70, of Sheridan died Saturday evening, Aug. 16, 2014.
He was born Sept. 11, 1943 in DuBois, Pa., the son of the late William A. and Helen Kardysauskas.
Mr. Kardysauskas served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves and had been employed as a transportation manager at General Motors in Tonawanda.
He was an avid fisherman who loved Lake Erie.
Survivors include his loving companion, Doris Kightlinger; one sister, Helen Sanders of Orchard Park; one brother, Anthony Kardysauskas of South Carolina; two nephews, Eric and William Sanders; one niece, Karlene Kardysauskas; his loving extended family, Victoria Ehmke, Amy McGowan, Angela Hughes, Scott Krzyzanowski and Tracie DeMotte.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Orchard Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Erie County Hospice.
