Audrey A. Begier, 76, of Dunkirk died after a short illness on Thursday evening, September 25, 2014 at ECMC in Buffalo, surrounded by her four children. She was born on February 2, 1938 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Edmund and Elizabeth (Kozlowski) Begier.
Audrey was a past employee of Sidey's Department Store and Chautauqua Opportunities in Dunkirk. She was a member of the Kosciuszko Polish Home.
Audrey is survived by three daughters, Denise (Thomas) Velk, Linda (Peter) Ganey, Gail (Albert) Dudzic; one son, Craig Bialaszewski and one brother, Norman (Mary Ann) Begier. Also survived by nine grandchildren, Alyssa Velk, Christopher (Jessica Pasierb), Courtney (Brian Ott), Brittany (Dan Matteson) and Taylor Ganey; Jacob, Nicholas, Kyle and Emily Dudzic; and three great grandchildren, Bristol Ott, Annabelle Dudzic and Riley Ganey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass which will be celebrated Saturday, October 4, 2014 in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
