Virginia (Foster) Falcone, 77, of College Station, Texas and Forestville, NY, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2014.
Virginia was born Dec. 4, 1936 to Arthur and Adeltha Mae (Barris) Foster in Dunkirk, New York. She grew up in Forestville, New York and graduated from Forestville Central High School in 1954. Virginia went on to earn a business degree in 1956 from Keuka College and in 1968 she graduated with a music degree from Fredonia State College. She married Joseph Falcone on May 25, 1957 and together they raised four children, Wendy, Gregg, Mike and Chris.
Virginia was a stay at home mom, taught piano lessons and loved to spend time working in her very large garden. She was an active member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Forestville, NY. Virginia was very proud of her children and grandchildren, was actively involved in her community and maintained many friendships in both New York and Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Del Foster. Virginia leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Joe Falcone; children, Wendy Falcone of Seattle, WA, Gregg and wife, Janet Falcone of College Station, Mike and wife, Lauren Falcone of College Station and Chris and wife, Kathy Falcone of Montgomery; grandchildren, Brett, Ross, Christopher, Grant, Harrison and Vivien; sister, Dolly and husband, Paul Scheasley of South Carolina and numerous extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Hillier Funeral Home, 2301 E. 29th St., Bryan, Texas.
