Angela M. Herrington, age 72, of Fairview Drive, Gowanda passed away at home Saturday, October 25, 2014.
She was born August 1, 1942 in Lackawanna, NY.
Angela married Edward M. Herrington at St. Joseph's RC Church in Gowanda on August 11, 1962. Ed survives.
Angela is also survived by two daughters, Linda (Larry Kiener) McGee of Gowanda and Lisa (William) Rebmann of Collins, grandchildren, Nicholas (Rosa), Amanda (Chris) Victoria, Autumn, Anthony and Braden along with great grandchildren, Eloise and Oliver. Angela is also survived by her brother Michael "Mick" (Judy) Ragona of Gowanda and their children Russell, Simon (Melissa) and Lana Ragona.
She is preceded in death by her parents Michael and Sarah (Rizzo) Ragona.
A member of St. Joseph's RC Church, Angela was the church secretary up until her illness earlier this year, a position she held since 1996.
Friends may call at the Schindler Funeral Home, 44 Center St., Gowanda, NY (716) 532-4200 from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 11 a.m. (assemble at church). Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery Fr. Joseph Porpiglia and Fr. Daniel Walsh will co-celebrate the Mass. Memorials may be made to a local Blood Bank. Please donate blood and or platelets today.
