John Epolito

John L. Epolito died November 18, 2014 at Absolut Care of Dunkirk, NY. John was born on April 9, 1916 to the late Archie and Mary (Mancuso) Epolito.

John was educated in the Fredonia School System and worked as a maintenance engineer at the Great Buffalo Press in Dunkirk, NY, prior to his retirement.

He was known as a "jack of all trades" and for his organizational skills.

John is survived by his two daughters, Marietta Godbey of Fredonia; and Juanita (Donald) Crocket of Dunkirk, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren.

Besides his wife, Frances Katherine (Bonarato), he is predeceased by his daughter, Carol Mae Briggs of West Seneca, five brothers Peter, Sam, Archie, Guy and Victor and two infant sisters.

John's memorial service will be held on November 29, 2014, at 5 p.m. in the Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 82 East Main St., Fredonia NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service and may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m.

Donations in John's memory can be sent to Hospice of Chautauqua County, 20 West Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY, The Lakeshore Community Chapel, 4552 West Main St., Fredonia, NY, or a charity of one's choice. This would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
