Todd A. Livermore

Todd A. Livermore, 53, of Route 241, Randolph, passed away, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at home with his family by his side.

He was born May 18, 1961 in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Charles D. "lefty" and Wanda Emma Lou Anderson Livermore.

Todd was a 1979 gradu-ate of Falconer Central School. He and his wife Laura are the current owner-operators of the Kennedy Meat Market (Lazy Gate Farms) in Randolph. In earlier years he had worked for Metallic Ladder Corporation in Randolph and Power Drives in Jamestown, NY. He and his wife Laura were Therapeutic Foster Care Parents for 10 years with New Directions Youth and Family Services and Chautauqua County.

Todd was a family man first and foremost. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and family dearly. He enjoyed working on his farm in his spare time. He was a 35 year life member and past Commander of the Randolph American Legion Post 181 Sons, Randolph Lodge 359 Free and Accepted Masons in Randolph and was active with his children with the Chautauqua and Cattaraugus County 4-H.

Todd was instrumental with the Randolph Midget Football Association for over 25 years, 23 years as head coach. A role his nephew Kelly Livermore now has.

He is survived by his wife Laura J. Hansen Livermore, whom he married on November 11, 1989 in Kennedy, two sons; Derreck and Cameron Livermore of Randolph, a daughter; Jamie (Kevin) Hackett of Myrtle Beach, SC, and three grandchildren; Javin, Rylan and Nevaeh Hackett, all of Myrtle Beach.

He is also survived by two brothers; Charles D. Livermore Jr. and his wife Susanne and Timothy Livermore, all of Ellington, a sister Melanie (Rhonda Halpainy) Livermore of Jamestown. He was preceded by his parents and a nephew Justin Halpainy-Livermore.

A Celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Randolph American Legion Post 181. As per Todd's wishes visitation will not be observed. Arrangements are entrusted to the Van Rensselaer & Son Funeral Home in Randolph.
