Sandra L. Morlock, 74, of Mill Road Ext., Mayville, died Monday (May 18, 2015) at UPMC Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA. She was born Nov. 19, 1940 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Earl and Esther Mallaber Austin.
Sandra was a member of Lake Chautauqua Memorial Post VFW Aux. 8647, the Mayville American Legion Aux. 493, and the Women of the Moose in Westfield 517. Sandra enjoyed crafts and fishing.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Morlock who she married Oct. 20, 1962 in South Dayton, NY; a daughter, Lorie Savurdich (Steve) of Sardinia, NY; two sons, Larry Morlock (Marilyn) of Eden, and Leonard Morlock of Mayville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis Butcher of South Dayton, Alice Saunders of Arkwright, and Pat Yager of South Dayton; and one brother, Ray Austin of South Dayton. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Dennis, Tom, Gene, and Richard Austin; and one sister, Claudia Kelly.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 22 in the Freay Funeral Home in Mayville. The Rev. Todd Remick of St. Mary of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mayville will officiate. Burial will be in the Mayville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 21 in the funeral home.
