Ina Robinson, 99, died peaceful Saturday, June 27 at Heritage Green. She was a lifelong resident of Sherman, NY.
Ina was born on July 7, 1915, in Sherman NY, the daughter of Leonard and Marie Soderberg. She lived over 75 years on the Robinson family farm, which she adored. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (Nana), aunt and great-aunt. She loved the outdoors, gardening, sewing, quilting, and crocheting. Her door was always open to family and friends, with a generous heart, kind spirit and sympathetic ear. She will be missed by many.
She is preceded in death by Roy Robinson (husband); Arthur "Butch" Robinson (son); Leonard, Fritz, Arthur "Tot" and Carl "Maggie" Soderberg (brothers) and Ruth Oaks (sister).
She is survived by daughter Darlene (Frank) Barney, Granddaughter Teresa (Dave) Guzman, Great grandson Max Guzman and many nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 30 at the Spitzer Funeral Home, 135 Miller St., Sherman, NY, with Rev. Timothy Phelps, officiating. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
