Ernest Taylor Brown, 86, of Brocton passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Absolut of Westfield. Born December 13, 1928 in Estherville, IA, son of the late Raymond and Violet Ransom Brown.
He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving with the United States Army.
Ernest was employed as a pressman at Dunkirk Great Lakes Color. He was a member of the J.W. Dill American Legion Post 434, Brocton and several other area organizations and enjoyed fishing, reading, family times and showing the golden retrievers with Barb.
Loving companion for over 30 years to Barbara J. Tompsett of Brocton; father of Ranae L. (Bruce) Leinenbach of Fredonia and Cheryl L. (Joe Ricotta) DeBell of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandfather of Brian D. (Tami) Laurito of Brocton, Scott L. (Ashley) Laurito of Bemus Point, Ranae Rose (Curt) Leinenbach of Fredonia, Christopher (Alyssa) and Courtney DeBell, all of Port St. Lucie, FL, and the late Jeffery Allen Leinenbach; brother of Kenneth (Ellen), Clifford (Jan) and the late Donald (Tootie), Robert (Ann) and Keith (Madeline) Brown.
Due to family travel and time constraints, a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
