Dudley Edward Williams, Sr., 65, of Brocton, NY passed away on February 5, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer and dementia. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.
Dudley was born on May 3, 1950 and was very well known and loved in his hometown of Brocton for his friendliness and smile. He enjoyed anything outdoors and he could always be found outside doing yard work.
Dudley's greatest accomplishment in life was the way he so devotedly loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
Dudley is survived by his his wife of 42 years, Marlene Williams; his son, Dudley Williams, Jr.; two daughters, Angela Karalus and Kim (Adam) Morello; three grandsons, Jimmy Karalus, Gabe Morello and Christian Morello; four granddaughters, Kristina Karalus, Jamie Karalus, Courtney Ransom and Savannah Morello. He was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Loraine Williams; and his sister, Sharon Mekus.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 7 from the Morse Funeral Home, 51 Highland Ave, Brocton. The Rev. Janus Witherington will officiate. Interment will be private at the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Morse Funeral Home on Saturday, February 6 from 3 to 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials in Dudley's name be made to the Brocton Fire Dept., Lake Ave. Brocton, NY 14716 and/or Hospice of Chautauqua County, 20 West Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
