Melia Ann Mosher, a selfless, altruistic wife and mother, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Gowanda, NY to Angeline and Louis Selan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Gerald W. Mosher. She is survived by a brother, Louis (Dorothy) Selan, Jr.; two daughters, Cheryl Seats (Christopher Lamar) and Judith Bassini (Steven Bassini); and five grandchildren, Lauren Bassini, Drew Bassini, Elisabeth (Libby) Bassini, Sarah Seats and Caroline Seats.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 9 at 11 a.m. at Mentley Funeral Home, 105 E. Main St., Gowanda. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Community Concern of Western New York - Senior Services.
