Ronnie Dotson, 69 years old, of Mayville passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA, after an extended illness.
Ronnie was born on June 12, 1946 in Omar, WV, and was the son of the late Green and Jacqueline Baldridge Dotson.
He was formerly of the Brocton area and in the last 10 years has made his home in Mayville.
He had been the manager of Kennedy Auto Sales in Kennedy.
Ronnie also liked playing the guitar and "hanging with family and friends".
He is survived by his wife, Florence Dotson; two daughters, Yvonne (Jack) Sipp of Brocton and Sondra (Robert) Apperson of Jamestown; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Michael (Pat) Dotson of Brocton and Terry (Cynthia) Dotson of California; two sisters, Sandra (Bill) Bentley of Kentucky and Gracie (Randy) Bane of Fredonia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; one brother, Green Dotson; one sister, Nancy Reamey; and one granddaughter, Misty Michelle Montgomery.
There will be no prior visitation. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
