Joann N. Gage

Joann N. Gage, 81, of Route 39, Forestville died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Gowanda Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gowanda. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on December 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Reginald and Irene (Porter) Webber.

Mrs. Gage enjoyed baking pies and cakes, watching hummingbirds and her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Gage of Forestville and Robert (Delana) Gage of South Dayton; two daughters, Nancy (Mark) Smith of Mayville and Cathey (James) Bock of Forestville; three brothers, William (Sharon) Webber of South Dayton, Edward (Dorothy) Webber of Lewiston, NY and Fred (Temple) Webber of Forestville; and three sisters, Ilean (Joe) Nenoff of Florida, Diane Emke Webb of South Dayton and Carol Gage of Forestville. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Justin and Luke Smith and Allen Gage; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allen J. Gage, whom she married June 27, 1953 in Perrysburg United Methodist Church and who died February 19, 2011; a sister, Dorothy Babbit; and twin brothers.

Friends are welcome to call at Riles & Woolley Funeral Home, 39 Main Street, Forestville on Wednesday, May 18 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM, from where funeral services will be held Thursday, May 19 at 10:00 AM, with Rev. James D. Hankey, pastor of the Forestville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Villenova Cemetery, South Dayton.
