Tracey Irvin, 56, of Allegany Road, Silver Creek, NY passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Tracey was born in Silver Creek on April 20, 1960, the daughter of Charles and Judith (Warner) Smith. She graduated from Lake Shore High School, Class of 1978.
Tracey worked for and retired from New Era Caps in Derby, NY, with over 30 years of service. She was a very independent person, who always put everybody else first. She enjoyed picnics and bonfires, in her younger years she liked to swim and was a lifeguard. Most of all, her life revolved around her family. She also was a member of the Silver Creek Volunteer Firemen's Association.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband of 34 years, Kevin Irvin, whom she married on July 24, 1982 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, Silver Creek; three daughters, Maggie, Katti, and Courtney Irvin, all of Silver Creek, NY, a granddaughter, Bella; a sister, Linda (Paul) Perrello of Angola, NY; two brothers, Chuck (Annette) Smith of Lakeview, NY and Steve (Anita) Smith of Angola, NY; mother-in-law, Maureen Irvin of Silver Creek; in-laws, Jeff (Colleen) Griewisch of Silver Creek and Tim Irvin of Dunkirk, NY; also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Michael Irvin.
Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek, NY on Friday, May 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., from where funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 21 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn officiating. Burial will be private.
