Doris Marcia Olson, 96, of Route 380, Sinclairville passed away Friday, June 25, 2016 at Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born October 25, 1919 in Hillside, NJ, the daughter of the late James and Lucy Darrow Peake.
She was a graduate of Lakewood Schools and Jamestown Business College. Doris was a full-time homemaker most of her life.
She posessed an unshakable faith which lead her entire family to the light of Christ and was a member of the South Stockton Wayside Chapel.
Wife of 65 years to Leo W.C. Olson, whom she married October 25, 1942, and who died October 24, 2008; mother of Suzanne L. (Robert) Masiker of Boynton Beach, FL, and Steven (Martha) Olson of Sinclairville; grandmother of Wayne S. (Valerie) Masiker and Joanne (Victor) Majtenyi, all of Boynton Beach, FL, Kay M. (David) Snell of Brocton, Amanda (Richard) Sendall of Gerry and Andrew Olson of Sinclairville; great-grandmother of 13; and sister of the late Donald and Winston Peake.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 16 in South Stockton Wayside Chapel, 5537 Route 380, Sinclairville, with Rev. Philip Shay officiating.
