Allen E. Sajdak, 80, of Port Charlotte, FL and formerly of Dunkirk, NY, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 18, 2016 at Bayfront Medical Center.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1962.
Allen worked for 30 years as a pressman for the Great Lakes Color Printing Company in Dunkirk.
He was an avid wood carver with the Culture Center Woodworking Group for many years.
Allen was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his sister, Irene Bebak and brother, Richard, both of Port Charlotte; as well as a son, Gary of Rochester, NY; daughter, Michelle Kolassa of Fredonia; and four grandchildren, Jeremy, Alyssa, Dalton and Cassidy.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with National Cremation Society of Port Charlotte.
