Paul Robert Carlson, 99, formerly of Brocton, passed away Friday, October 21 at Heritage Village Nursing Home in Gerry.
Paul was predeceased by his loving wife of 72 years, Frances Carlson. He was also predeceased by a son, Blair Carlson; a granddaughter, Laurie Deering Kutt; and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Robitson.
Paul was born in Randolph in 1917 to Richard and Florence Carlson. He graduated from Randolph Academy and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Paul was a self-employed salesman and always enjoyed talking to people. He was a member of Tri-Church Parish of Brocton.
Survivors include Linda (Don) Deering of South Carolina, Sue (Eric) Lamb of Fredonia and David (Judy) Carlson of Pennsylvania. Nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren also survive.
A memorial service celebrating Paul's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements were conducted by the Morse Funeral Home of Brocton.
