Nancy A. Ognen Straight, formerly of Versailles, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017 surrounded by family. Nancy was 77 years old. Born in Silver Creek October 9, 1939, the daughter of John and Ruth (Wall) Lewis.
Survivors include her three children, Tim (Carol) Ognen of Gowanda, Christopher Ognen of Collins and Marijo (Terry) Jimerson of Cottage; and five grandchildren, Michael Durnford, Duane Durnford, Haley (Kris) Jimerson Ocasio, Elizabeth Ognen and Layna Jimerson. Nancy is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; sister, Jean (Keith) Meyers of Perrysburg; brother, Michael (Mary) Lewis of Cottage; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her niece, Amy Lewis.
A private service, followed by an open Celebration of Life, will take place at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 25 from the Versailles Community Hall, Versailles. If desired, memorials may be made to the Collins Library, Collins, NY 14034.
