Roberta A. Lazarczyk, 63, of Silver Creek died Saturday evening, October 7, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 11, 1954 in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (Milks) Brooks.
A lifelong area resident, Roberta was a graduate of Dunkirk High School, Class of 1972. She was employed as a dietary aide at Lake Shore Hospital in Irving.
Roberta loved her hummingbirds, flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Lawrence S. Lazarczyk, whom she married July 28, 1972; one daughter, Karen Lazarczyk of Sheridan; one son, Robert (Amy) Lazarczyk of Evans; two grandchildren, Sierra Davis and Noah Lazarczyk; one brother, Michael (Deborah) Brooks of Fredonia; two sisters, Rebecca (Daniel) Tabaczka and Mindee Brooks, both of Dunkirk; three nieces, Mami Johnson, Lindsay Tabaczka, and Stacey Gorka; two nephews, Michael Brooks, Jr. and Jonathan Brooks.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 12 at 10:00 AM in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. Pastor Michael Leamon will officiate. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 11 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
