Viola M. Stefanacci, 89, a retired cook for Frontier Central School, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at Lake Shore Hospital in Irving, NY.
She was born August 19, 1922 in Aliquippa, PA, the daughter of the late Vincent and Theresa (Fini) Cretacci.
Viola was a member of the St. Joseph's Altar Society and Rosary Society, and the Gowanda Seniors.
She is survived by two sons, Paul A. (Michal) Stefanacci of Frisco, CO, Richard (Peggy) Stefanacci of Parker, PA; three grandchildren, Alex Stefanacci of Denver, CO, Joseph Stefanacci of Parker, PA, Sue Ann Rainmondi of Butler, PA; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Julia Novoa of Gowanda, NY.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse Paul Stefanacci in 2007; her sister Sarah Incardona; her two brothers, Anthony Cretacci and Albert Cretacci.
Visitation will be held at Hills Funeral Chapel, 255 Aldrich Street on Friday, August 17 from 2-4 P.M. and 7-9 P.M.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 18 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 26 Erie St., Gowanda, NY. Father Daniel P. Walsh of St. Joseph RC Church will be officiating. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, NY.
