Top: It's playoff time on the Section VI hardwood!  On Saturday, all the matchups were revealed in the boys and girls brackets, and local players like Dunkirk's Devaun Farnham (left) and Fredonia's Hannah Gullo (right) will look to help their teams make deep playoff runs.  The Dunkirk boys open their postseason at home against either Albion or City Honors on Wednesday, while the Fredonia girls host City Honors on Tuesday.  Photos by Ron Szot

Bottom right: The Buffalo Sabres celebrate after their first goal of the game against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday at the KeyBank Center.  The Sabres went on to win the game by a 3-2 score, ending the Blues' six-game winning streak and inching closer to the Eastern Conference wild card playoff spots in the process.  Photo by the Buffalo News
