Top: It's a crowded leaderboard right now at the U.S. Open, and these two are among the contenders. Paul Casey (left) is in a four-way tie for first place at -7 after a roller coaster Round 2. Casey had two bogeys and a double bogey during a four-hole stretch on the back nine, but he bounced back with a string of five consecutive birdies for a round of 71. Meanwhile, Rickie Fowler (right), who carded a 65 in Round 1 at Erin Hills, began to struggle on the back nine Friday and finished with a 73. However, Fowler enters the weekend just one shot back at -6. Photos byUSA Today
