Saturday Sports Update

Top left: Tyrod Taylor's status remains up in the air for the Buffalo Bills' game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.  Taylor, who suffered a knee injury in last week's loss to the New England Patriots, was limited in practice on Friday.  Head coach Sean McDermott says he is a game-time decision.  Photo from buffalobills.com

Top right: Look who's coming to the Bronx!  According to multiple sources, the New York Yankees and Miami Marlins have reached a deal that will send Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees.  Stanton, who was named the 2017 National League MVP earlier this week, blasted a Major League-leading 59 home runs.  And guess who he'll be paired with?  Aaron Judge, who led the American League with 52 dingers.  Not the thing American League pitchers want to see.  Photo by USA Today

Bottom left: Robin Lehner had a busy night in net for the Buffalo Sabres on Friday.  He made 48 saves against a relentless Chicago Blackhawks team.  The Sabres actually held a 2-1 lead late in the 3rd period, but the Blackhawks tied it up and then scored the game-winner with only 4.9 seconds left in overtime to hand the Sabres a 3-2 loss.  Photo from NHL.com

Bottom right: College football's best players will be gathered in New York City tonight for the annual Heisman Trophy Presentation.  Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is the overwhelming favorite to win the trophy, throwing for 4,340 yards and 41 touchdowns for the 2nd-ranked Sooners.  Photo by USA Today
