A woman was arrested by Jamestown Police after being caught possessing methamphetamine for the third time in one year. Jamestown Police Officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Liberty St. and Falconer St. for observed moving and equipment violations on Saturday around 8:15pm. During investigation, it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, 55-year-old Latrisha McCarty, was allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and two different controlled pills. This would be the third time this year that McCarty had been located near Liberty St. in possession of meth. McCarty was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she was charged with three counts of 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. McCarty was help pending arraignment due to failing to appear for previous court dates.
