An Irving woman is facing a number of charges after a traffic stop on Routes 5 and 20 in the Town of Hanover. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Tara Forbes last Friday at about 6:45 PM. Deputies say further investigation found that Forbes was impaired by drugs. She was charged with DWAI, 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, improper passing, improper turn without a signal, and moving from lane unsafely. She was released with tickets to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date.
