Two people are facing drug possession charges after a traffic stop Wednesday evening on Jamestown's west side. Jamestown Police pulled over a vehicle occupied by 40-year-old John Peterson of Randolph and 29-year-old Jamica Maisonet of Jamestown in the area of West 6th Street and Jefferson Street shortly before 7:00 PM. Officers determined that both Peterson and Maisonet were allegedly in possession of a quantity of cocaine. Both were charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and released with an appearance ticket.
