A woman who had an active arrest warrant issued by the City of Jamestown Criminal Court was taken into custody near downtown Jamestown on Wednesday. Jamestown Police located Teresa Rooney in the area of East 6th Street and Pine Street shortly before 2:45 AM. She was arrested with incident, and a subsequent search of her person located a quantity of methamphetamines and pills. Rooney was taken to the Jamestown City Jail on two counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, in addition to her warrant.
