A man from Jamestown was arrested in the Hanover area for driving while intoxicated. On Saturday around 1:20am, officers with the Chautauqua County Sheriffs Office patrolling the Hanover area observed a vehicle traveling at a high speed on routes 5 & 20. The vehicle was stopped, and the operator was identified as 46-year-old Lance McKoon of Jamestown. During investigation, it was determined that McKoon was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and transported to the Hanover substation for processing, and later transported to a local hospital for evaluation. McKoon was charged with speed in zone, DWI, and DWI per se
