A Jamestown man is facing several charges after a vehicle ran a red light at the intersection of Harrison Street and Winsor Street Thursday evening. Jamestown Police, who were patrolling that area shortly before 7:45 PM, also found that the vehicle also had a number of equipment violations. Officers tried to stop the vehicle, but it sped up and briefly lost control, crossing into the oncoming lane. It then pulled over to the side of the road. Officers determined that the driver, 25-year-old Cody Bean, was allegedly intoxicated and had a BAC more than twice the legal limit. Bean was charged with DWI, inadequate headlights, failure to stop at a red light, speed not reasonable, failure to comply with a lawful order, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.
