A Jamestown man was arrested for drug charges following a traffic stop. On Sunday around 12:52 AM, Jamestown Police Officers on routine patrol observed 41-year-old Tyler Perez operating a vehicle with a suspended registration in the area of Barrett Avenue and McKinley Avenue. Officers were aware that Perez had a revoked driver's license and conducted a traffic stop. During investigation, officers determined that Perez was allegedly in possession of a quantity of fentanyl, buprenorphine, and naloxone sublingual films, which are both controlled substances. Perez was arrested and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He was charged with two counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and received numerous uniform traffic tickets.
