A 19-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly violating an order of protection at a hotel on Jamestown's west side on Monday. Jamestown Police responded to the scene at about 2:45 AM to investigate a 911 hang-up. On arrival, officers discovered that Jezreel Deleon was in the presence of a female and toddler in violation of a stay-away order of protection. Deleon was found hiding under a bathroom sink and allegedly refused to obey officers' commands when he was told to get out of the room. He eventually complied and was subsequently taken into custody. Deleon faces two counts of 2nd-degree criminal contempt and one count of resisting arrest.
