An Irving man is facing charges after a traffic stop in the Town of Perrysburg last Saturday. Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle for a violation shortly before 7:00 PM, with an investigation finding that 61-year-old Leroy Gates allegedly possessed a quantity of suspected crack cocaine and was driving on a suspended license. He was charged with 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, 2nd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating out of interlock restriction and failure to stop at a stop sign. Gates was released with an appearance ticket for Perrysburg Town Court.
