Jamestown Police Officers arrested a man after a controlled substance was discovered after a traffic stop. On Friday around 4:37pm, Jamestown Police Officers were patrolling in the area of Prather Ave and Broadhead when they stopped a vehicle for observed traffic violations. Through investigation, it was discovered that the operator, 30-year-old Austin Karash, was allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. Karash was placed into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail and charged with 7th degree criminal possession of a controlled subtance.
