An inmate at the Chautauqua County Jail is facing charges after she allegedly spit on an officer who was returning her to her cell. The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office says 43-year-old Vanessa Braun, who was being held on unrelated charges from a prior incident in Jamestown, was charged with 2nd-degree obstruction and 2nd-degree harassment. She will answer her new charges in Chautauqua Town Court at a later date.
