A Jamestown woman faces drug possession charges as the result of a traffic stop on the city's west side last weekend. On Sunday, March 2nd, Jamestown Police pulled over a vehicle on West 6th Street near Clinton Street shortly after 1:00 AM for an infraction and discovered that 28-year-old Mariah Jackson allegedly possessed a quantity of cocaine. Jackson was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where police further discovered that she allegedly had burnt tinfoil containing a small quantity of fentanyl. Jackson was charged with two counts of 7th-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and she was released with an appearance ticket for Jamestown City Court.
