An Ashville man was taken into custody on drunk driving charges stemming from a traffic stop last Monday in the Town of North Harmony. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle on Spooner Road for a violation shortly after 6:30 AM and determined that the driver, 51-year-old Thomas Matjoulis, allegedly had a BAC more than the legal limit. Deputies charged Matjoulis with speeding, DWI and aggravated DWI (BAC .18% or higher), and he will appear in North Harmony Town Court at a later date.
