An Irving man faces a handful of charges stemming from a traffic stop in the Town of Hanover. Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pulled over a vehicle on Bennett State Road near Forestville Road for violations shortly after 2:45 PM Saturday. Further investigation found that the driver -- 52-year-old James White, Jr. -- was allegedly impaired. Deputies charged White with driving while ability impaired by drugs, 3rd-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, consumption of cannabis in a motor vehicle, speeding, and moving from lane unsafely. White was released with tickets for Hanover Town Court.
